Adds SLI profiles for the following PC games:.
v260.89 drivers in the following PC games: Civilization V (SLI), Fallout 3, Final Fantasy XIV and F1 2010 (DX11). This driver package supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, and 400-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs. You can read about the major new features and performance improvements in the Release 260 family of drivers here. I seriously dont know how im going to utilize the 1GB of memory this card has. This is the second WHQL release from the Release 260 family of drivers. After overclocking to what it can handle where your not pushing it too much, you might be able to push anti-alaising 2x with max settings but i still dont think you'll get smooth gameplay. The ram making 550 mhz (i have no idea why this card claims to be 800mhz effective, if anyone finds out let me know). Overall Review: Overclocking this card benefits you little, i can get another 100mhz from the processor, and 150 mhz from the ram. When playing crysis with all settings maxed out, trying to push this cards limits couldnt handle 2x anti-aliasing. Overall heat of this card seems to be low even with overclock.Ĭons: The anti-aliasing does not work well with this card. It comes with its own overclocking utility, its a pretty nice interface and very easy to use. Plays crysis like i said and i couldn't be happier with a card at this price. I made sure to give this card time before i gave it a rating. This card comes with an S-video adapter giving you green red and blue connectors for an hdtv, which is pretty awesome, along with the dvi to vga connectors. It plays crysis on 1024 x 768 screen resolution with all seetings maxed out. With more memory combined on these cards and shared memory than most games, why get something that can only render fast? I'd rather not spend that much money, SLI 2 of these and never have to wait for whole maps to be rendered rather than have something that tries to stream renders from my HDD. If you want to waste money for no reason and get a better card than this, go ahead. Overall Review: If you want a really high end PCI-E 2.0 card for really cheap that you know will be just as good as any 256-bit or above card when it comes to high end games, go ahead and get this one.
You don't need super-fast GDDR3 or above RAM or a GTX 295.
Nvidia drivers are super easy to install and use. Did I mention this thing is cheap?! Cheap, great card by EVGA. I've never waited for ANY loading of rendering on Burnout, Bioshock, Crysis, etc. put two together and share 4GB of system memory and load a game from an SSD and you have a sweeeet system. Great multiloader! Ok, so you may be like me and hate load times, right? Well this thing loads tonns of processing data to the huge GB of DDR2 onboard.
This isn't a freezer, but under full load, GPU1 is ~69 C and GPU2 is ~59 C No details on the web on performance, but it's GREAT! Windows 7 rating of 7.0 Aero and 5.8 gaming. Pros: I'll give full details on this baby and tell you why you should own one.
